Project Summary

We have accomplished a San Diego-based project for an industrial building. The way to uplift the project was through great BIM services. We were given the responsibility to produce high-quality BIM solutions as per the project's needs. For the project, we were required to turn the MEP point cloud into BIM models. The MEP project was for 10,000 sq.m. Several MEP components were to be taken care of. There were many types of equipment and technical parts to be installed in the project after its completion. The clients had the scans of the building along with them. The scanned point cloud data provided by our clients were transformed into an accurate Revit model. The scans were of great quality, which made our job easy. We also provided MEP coordination and clash detection services.

Final Results

Industrial buildings are always a little complicated to design. But with the right point cloud, we were able to retrieve the correct data and turn them into precise models. The models possessed valuable BIM information and the clash detection service made the building more secure hence, the building life cycle was increased. Our BIM engineers understood the task and transformed all the data into the BIM model which helped with the final execution of the building as well. The different areas of the MEP building were taken care of individually.
