Project Summary

We have been a part of this significant BIM project for the USA Federal building. The existing federal building in Miami was quite old. This required revamping and remodeling in order to safeguard the structure. We received the scanned data from the clients and turned the buildings' point cloud data into a BIM model. The area of the building is 179,000 sq.ft. This project was of great importance so we paid great attention to details and tried our best to achieve the highest accuracy in it. The outcome was excellent and it ended up being a successful project.

Solutions

We have taken care of the project very excellently. The point cloud data was transformed into an accurate Revit BIM model. This was possible due to the quality that Revit software possesses and also because of the qualified team our company has who are experts in scan to BIM projects.

Challenges

The project spanned a large area, which made it a challenge to complete correctly. The point cloud data we received was for an existing building that was quite old. The building has an old structure and architectural design which includes some ornaments designs on which more precision is needed to do the modeling work.
